Fine art is the communication of ideas, feelings and observations through a visual medium. Art piece should purely be a reflection of personal experiences. This is unlike applied or decorativee art, which often has a practical purpose, beginning with a brief and ending with the production of an object that has a specific function. The main focus of fine art is thoughgts and emotions. You can discover work by other artists that interestes and inspires you. It might help you to look at the world around you in different way and encourage to experiment with new techniques in your own work.
Photographs show what you see, but not how you see it. Observational drawings are more personal and therefore of far greater value. It can be used to show the audience the things that interest and attract you. for example, shape , texture or tone.
Rather than produce an image that is a direct representation of something that you have seen,it is possible to create an image entirely from your imagination, that is no boundaries. Imagination and creativity are very very important...
